correct me if im wrong -- but for India's independence, the only violence which came about was first from the british government as ghandi tried to undermine them through non-violence ( which from what i've read was extremely trying and honestly one of the greatest achievements humanity has seen ! )

and secondly from an ethnic / religious uprising between hindus and muslims -- eventually resulting the creatation of Pakistan.

so i dont see where the soldier fits into the image.

@ theClairvoyant... i totally agree with u.. We got FREEDOM out of Gandhi's efforts.. but we cant forgot the efforts taken by other heroes... like Subhashchandra Bose.. he had fought against the British like a soldier.. n my image soldier is icon of that only.. actually i really impressed with the work done by Subhashchandra Bose for our country..

gr8 work buddy as always. U r right about Netaji, But i think it should b The AzadHind army (if i m not wrong about the name)... This is also the point i want to make about the design. I think there should have been more soilders shown, maybe in a organised way of the army OR even their dress code (remember the netaji cap) .

I like everything but the one soilder. Regardless this goes to my desktop wallpaper. Guess the Vittal one has been there for too long
